Rogers Fit Squad (RFS) is pushing the limits of innovative high quality production in fitness media. Through intensive training and development RFS assembled FUSION, a total body workout using real mixed martial arts techniques through six routines. RFS located in Chicago, Illinois would to like be known not just as a media company but a lifestyle company conscience of their clients needs. About the Founders
Joshua Rogers
Joshua Rogers is an American fitness presenter, martial artist and founder of the Chicago based fitness media company, Rogers Fit Squad.
Rogers, a former United States Marine Corps serviceman, began honing his martial arts and group fitness skills while stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Rogers began practicing Go-Ju-Ryu Karate at a Japanese dojo fueling his passion for martial arts. Upon returning to the United States he became well versed in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and various styles of kickboxing.
Rogers graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago and also began a healthy relationship with the Chicago Park District as a group fitness instructor. Rogers worked with the park district for several years opening the door to begin working as a presenter at several prestigious fitness clubs in Chicago, most notably at East Bank Club. Rogers is a certified group exercise instructor through SCW.
Rogers can be found sparring in local mixed martial arts gyms, a passion which turned into a competitive pastime. His hard work was rewarded in 2009, winning his last fight to date at the highly competitive Total Fight Challenge bringing his record to 4-1 in MMA.
Karl Geweniger
Karl Geweniger is the co-founder of Rogers Fit Squad. Geweniger is also the production manager and creative director of the FUSION DVD series. Geweniger brings a fresh-eye to the fitness scene via his education at Columbia College Chicago and his desire to bend and combine genres to create quality productions. Geweniger resides in Chicago and uses his skills outside of RFS as a producer and freelance filmmaker.
